Singer, songwriter and producer Lihme released her 5 star renowned debut album Solid | Soft on the 22nd of September 2023. On the album she focuses on unhealthy relations and claims the right to say ’It’s you, not me’. She explores the strength in fragility and the solidness in the softness through the text and sound universe on the album.
Lihme had her debut in 2018 as a songwriter and producer when she released the self-produced ballad ’Free Fall’ and was instantly referred to by the Danish music magazine Gaffa as an artist that you should keep an eye on. Her sound universe is inspired by artist such as Lykke Li, Feist, Lydmor and Oh Land. At the same time she has a unique talent for mixing honest lyrics with her dreamy vocal and use a quirky mix of electronic and acoustic sounds in her music.
With an acoustic EP release in 2020 as well as concerts at danish and german music venues, art museums and festivals, Lihme has indeed established herself as an artist both in Denmark and abroad.
Solid | Soft is produced in a collab between Lihme, the producer Esben Inglev [Rigmor, Who Killed Bambi. Lowly] and the drummer and producer Steffen Lundtoft [Lowly]. Their joined goal has been to make a versatile indie pop album that creates a party in the everyday life as well as diving into deeper emotional layers.
