Lij is a Jamaican artiste and social media influencer living in Japan. The 30 year old artiste started his musical journey singing with international gospel artiste, Kurt Kerr, at 5 years old in Kingston, Jamaica. Fast forward to today, Lij AKA “Lijitimate” is popularly known for his witty words , fashion and acting skills. In 2021, Lij released his debut “Contemporary Dancehall” song Szn (Season) which was well received by people in parts of the Americas, Africa and Asia. On April 5,2024, Lij released his second single “Coconut”, which is expected to gain success well as a 2024 summer song. Lij’s favorite genres are Dancehall, Reggae, R&B, Ballads & Afrobeats. His aim is to make timeless, authentic, quality music for all ages.
