Like Satellites

Like Satellites is a Canadian alternative band made up of Leah Gillespie and Logan Arsenault. They burst onto the music scene in 2018 with their single Muscle Memory, produced by Sam Guaiana (Like Pacific, Silverstein, Young Culture). From the beginning Like Satellites has featured soaring melodies and punchy, honest lyrics paired with hard hitting drums, glimmering synths, and melodic guitar and bass. They have played with bands like Calling All Captains, Rival Town, Carried Away, and NEAVV across Ontario with no plans of stopping any time soon.

Their debut EP ‘Nothing Left to Say’ brings all of what they’ve learned together into something distinctly them. With influences ranging from The Maine, Taking Back Sunday, and Death Cab for Cutie, to The 1975, Lights, and Broods, Like Satellites has a fresh sound that hints at summers at Warped Tour and teenage angst. They blend their collective experience to create the right balance of maturity and melodrama, and through everything one thing has remained stable: this band’s drive to release music that people want to listen to with the windows down and the volume turned way up.
