Lil BandKamp has proven himself to be one of the most talked-about artists coming up in his hometown of Brampton, Ontario. After opening up for Houdini, being interviewed by the #1 Hip Hop source in Toronto (WeLoveHipHopNetwork), & multiple 6ixbuzz appearances, BandKamp has proven himself to be the "King Of Brampton".
Growing up in a multi-cultural household, BandKamp was exposed to a wide variety of musical influences that would later shape the sounds of his career. Artists like Nas, Usher, Neyo, & Lil Wayne drew his attention to the RnB/Hip Hop scene. From seeing two of his own uncles in the rap game themselves, BandKamp knew that his dreams would soon one day be a reality. From the 7th grade onward, BandKamp started writing his own lyrics inspired by the G.O.A.T.'s of his generation including acts such as Drake, YNW Melly, & NBA Youngboy. BandKamp was quick to pick up the new melodic trap sounds of his day and put his own sauce on it. The slimy synths and heavy 808's, coupled with BandKamp's signature tone, are just a few of the reasons why fans across Canada go crazy for his music.
