Lil Cue is an emerging Aussie rapper from the Northern suburbs of Adelaide, bringing honest
lyrics and a captivating flow over unique hip-hop beats. Iconic hip-hop artists such as Hiltop hoods,
Kerser, MadChild Kodak Black & Ty Dolla $ign inspired Lil Cue to begin free-styling and
developing his own style from a young age.
Growing up listening to artists such as Billy Joel Bob Dylan
Black Sabbath and Lincoln Park.
Lil Cue discovered hip-hop at 13 years old and pivoted his music taste instantly.
He immediately began practicing rapping in his bedroom and partaking in rap battles at
school. With his newfound talent and passion clear to those around him.
Lil Cue was offered
a scholarship in year nine, which led him to the tutti festival in China in 2019.
Lil Cue’s passion for rapping and hip-hop saved him from going down the wrong path, as he
began mixing with a troubling crowd, he found an alternative outlet and a love for life.
Carclew’s Music at Work program drastically assisted in this change, where a mentorship
instilled a love for music, learning and school within Lil Cue. Northern Sound System also
played a significant part in mentoring Lil Cue and introducing him to the music industry and
recording processes, as well as providing guidance.
Lil Cue has performed with high-profile rap artists such as Chillinit, J MILLA, Nancy Bates and many more, bringing a ‘super energetic, high energy stage performance and
hype’, always getting the crowd jumping.
