From the time Lil Degen was 9 years old he knew music was his passion. A Seoul (South Korea) born, Charlotte raised artist and producer, Degen found himself obsessed with Linkin Park and Green Day. The untamed energy and vulnerable lyrics are an undeniable influence, but his first taste of autotune infused ballads from the likes of Travis Scott, Speaker Knockerz, and Chief Keef wasn't until his 8th grade year.
"I still remember hearing 'Heartless' being performed by my after-school teacher. The way the music made me feel: that's the feeling I want to give to the world- a sense of freedom and understanding."
With singles such as "RIP Steelo" and projects "Dean's List" and "Degeneration" under his belt, Degen is doing just that; giving fans (new and old) an idea of what being a Degenerate really is.
