Aurélio Kauê Santos Ferreira, known as Lil Juicy, was born on September 6, 2003, in a small city in the state of Pará called Rondon do Pará, Brazil. In 2016, he moved to the United States with his family, facing the challenge of adapting to a new culture and language. Struggling to learn English during middle school — which is why he always felt more comfortable expressing himself in Portuguese when writing songs.
Lil Juicy started making music in 2018, after school with friends — just for fun. His first track was made using a beat from YouTube, and since he couldn’t write lyrics yet, he borrowed the words from Migos’ “Cocoon.” That moment sparked something real.
By 2021, he recorded his first original song, “Chanel,” using Soundtrap and released it on YouTube and SoundCloud, marking the beginning of his journey as an independent artist. From there, he kept creating, learning, and developing his sound — a mix of raw emotion, pain, and ambition.
In 2025, Lil Juicy released his first album, “Do Norte ao Mundo,” representing his growth and vision: from the North of Brazil to the world.
The name Lil Juicy is a tribute to the artists who inspired him early on — taking “Lil” from Lil Uzi Vert, “Juic” from Juice WRLD, and the “Y” from Lil Tracy. Influenced by the emo rap wave, Juicy grew up listening to artists like XXXTENTACION, Trippie Redd, and others who mixed vulnerability with power — a balance he now brings into his own music.
