Lil Jul

Lil Jul is an alternative hip hop artist, based in Ballarat, Victoria State of Australia.

Known for his emotive imagery and vicious rhymes in lyrics, Lil Jul (Julien) started off as a poet in school and slowly worked his way up as a lyricist, singer-songwriter and producer. For him, hip hop was his weapon to battle issues at hand during adolescence.

As the years progressed he worked on several mixtapes, and developed a immersive vocal style to accompany his seasoned verses. Being multi-lingual he aims to incorporate his various influences in to his music, bringing a unique and favorable sound.

During the covid years he begain releasing various independent singles. Eventually in 2022, he released his long awaited mixtape "Pegasus".

He has set his eyes in expanding his territory in the local music scene, with hopes on not only expanding collaborations of other locals but continue in pursuing a hip hop sound that he has fallen in love with since adolescence.
