LiL Parkar is a home-based independent producer, drummer and songwriter local to Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. Parkar's love for genres such as punk, trap and emo music translate into the sound of his emotion evoking, head bopping discography. Inspired by the likes of Lil Peep, Misfits and Travis Barker, Parkars music calls to be felt deeply, sung loudly and to be a source of light through peoples dark times.
In the beginning of LiL Parkars career, he was exclusively a SoundCloud musician until he was signed to Sauce Goth Mafia Clique (SGMC) in 2019. Parkar released several collaborative works through the label, including his alt-rock inspired Debut album in 2020 ‘Love Now, Cry Later’.
LiL Parkar left SGMC in 2021 to become an Independent artist. Taking the creative process of making and releasing music into his own hands, Parkar found independence refreshing and exhilarating. This led to the release of the Grateful Dead inspired track, ‘POWER’ in late 2021, publicly marking the beginning of his self-ruling music journey.
One of Parkars current projects is being the drummer and founding member of the punk, queer - core band Strawberry Lipstick that was formed in 2022 by Parkar and friends. Strawberry Lipstick are upcoming in Melbourne's live music scene, playing popular venues such as The Bergy Seltzer and Whole Lotta Love.
LiL Parkar is consistently working on new projects. You are guaranteed to always be getting something new with his many musical endeavours.
