Lil Ponyboy is an experimental Rap artist from Newfoundland, Canada. Taking influence from sounds ranging from Rage to Hyperpop to Alternative to Punk, Ponyboy blends many styles together effortlessly.
Starting his journey into music at 15 years old, Ponyboy began recording music on an iPhone and headphones. Going by the name YungJ, he took influence from rock and metal bands, aggressive and grungy trap music, and his own personal anger.
Since then, Ponyboy has dedicated himself to expanding his catalogue and upping his quality. He decided to change his name and make ties with a manager. Recording in professional studios around his province, he has released 3 projects showing his melodies, vocal range, and originality. Ponyboy has worked with artists such as Gpie, @TheWillPike and Janer.
