Lil Ripps

Lil Ripps is a Canadian based rapper who started rapping at the age of 14 on a small laptop in his room. He released his first mixtape in 2018 titled #FREERIPPS referring to previous experiences. The project showcased his emotion and sorrow that he can put into his music. #FREERIPPS has been deleted on all platforms for various reasons. He then took a full year off to work on his music and returned in April 2020 with a 10 track mixtape titled “Heart Of A Thug”. The mixtape showed how he can be hard hitting but also be vulnerable at the same time. The mixtape opens up to a freestyle over a popular Chicago insturmental followed by the track “Tylenol.” On the most successful track of the project “Thuggin For Life” He says, “I remember all them days I was looking for some love and I knew that I would never find no one”. Stating how tough it has been for him to find love. This is a very emotional line on one of the softer songs on the mixtape. Following the mixtape he released a single in June 2020 titled “NTN Drillings” which is a hard hitting track where Lil Ripps raps over a trendy drill instrumental. ~Lil Ripps Management team
