Lil Todu

2019 was the year when Lil Todu along with Meme Machine made numerous heads turn with his debut single - 'Pateli'. Things within the Indian rap scene weren't the same post that. One of the few artists to start off with that new wave of trap which consisted of Atlanta-style beats, vocals with melodies and catchy hook-lines. His first EP - 'No Warning' consisted of other singles like 'dnd' with Sahir and 'Desi Drip' produced again, by Meme Machine - which was appreciated by many. Having performed at some local venues in Mumbai, Covid followed soon after. His pandemic induced hiatus involved him going deeper into discovering his production and writing style. After having switched over to the alias of 'Mr. Todu' for a couple of years and returning in 2023 - he has been consistent with his studio releases.
His style is raw, pop and rather experimental. Forever changing, he knows that his sound - even though currently novel and never heard before; will surely change the way popular music is perceived in India.
