In 2017, Lila Rose left her small town of 800 people in Washington state and headed East to her dream city, Nashville, TN. She spent four years there studying Songwriting at Belmont University, playing shows, and meeting other writers, but quickly realized that Nashville was not everything she had dreamed it would be. Lila found herself being pulled back West towards the mountains and deserts where she felt her songs truly fit in. With influences such as Townes Van Zandt and Willie Nelson, along with contemporary artists such as Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, Charley Crockett, and Ryan Bingham, Lila takes her songwriting back to the times of outlaw tales while mixing in real emotion, believing that stories don’t always have to be true but feelings do. She now calls the state of Texas her home and hopes to make an impression within the Texas Country Music Scene with the recent release of her first single, “Life Lived Wrong.”
