Lilac Lane

Lilac Lane are a rising rock band hailing from the North East of England. The band consists of Adam Henderson (vocals), Aidan Evans (guitar), Callum McKitterick (bass) and Darren Weldon (drums). Each bringing their own musical influences and talents to the band.

Lilac Lane was formed in 2022, though it took a few lineup changes before settling into its current form. Frontman Adam and guitarist Aidan, who are cousins, started the project, later bringing in Callum and Darren—school friends of Aidan—to complete the lineup.

Lilac Lane blends Britpop charm with classic rock grit, drawing inspiration from legends like Oasis and The Stone Roses, while channeling the raw power of Led Zeppelin and The Who. Their sound is a bold fusion of swagger, melody, and timeless rock energy, creating a dynamic sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

With a growing presence on the local gig circuit and plans to release their debut album, Lilac Lane is a band on the brink of something bigger—ready to carry the sound of the North East to the wider world.
