Lilbluebeluga

Lilbluebeluga, aka Blue Chu, 朱有鳳 , is a vibrant, mixed-race, multidisciplinary, queer, non-binary artist creating magic on the stolen and unceded ancestral territories of the Coast Salish People of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations.

With a flair for the dramatic and a heart full of music, Lilbluebeluga is a performer, composer, singer-songwriter, musician, writer, musical comedian, and clown extraordinaire. In 2022, they made a splash with their self-produced, home-recorded debut album, The Whale Tale Between Two Fins, which is now serenading ears on all streaming platforms.

A key member of the band HOTDYKEPARTY, Lilbluebeluga rocks the bass for Toddy and Leo D.E Johnson. They bring a classical touch as the harp accompanist for The Spontaneous Shakespeare Company and keep the laughs rolling as an improviser for QueerProv and Tightrope Impro Theatre.
