The strength of a woman lies not in her actions, but in the motivations behind them.


Lily Jannah has gone from strength to strength throughout her life, with her musical talents coming to light at 5 years old.
With an artistically-inclined family behind her, she began her ascent into greatness by sweeping up countless accolades at keroncong competitions across the country, setting her up to later fall under the tutelage of Professor Dr. Siti Chairani Proehoeman at ASWARA. Graduating with honours.


She is featured throughout major events in Malaysia, such as TV3’s Anugerah Juara Lagu in 2016, the ‘Music 4 Humanity’ Concert and the SEA Games Official Opening song in 2017. Across the border she wowed audiences at the ExxonMobil Campus Concert, held at the National University of SIngapore.


She is a headlining fixture at KL’s best music venues like No Black Tie, Jazz Up9 and BOBO, while Japan has celebrated her at Backstay Tokyo and Thelonious Jazz Cafe. Through it all she remains a committed performer and composer collaborating with Grammy Award-winning R&B/Pop artiste Keithen Carter on an impending album.


She is the voice of the official soundtrack ‘Keluarga Iskandar: The Movie,’ with composer Kunci Demak.


Her new single ‘Luka,’ explores the complexities of navigating toxic relationships. She draws inspiration from her life where she stands proud as a mother, a beacon of solidarity and balance between focus on ones’ own goals and that of the family she has built.
