Lily Kelso

Lily Kelso is a singer-songwriter whose first single, "Details" is the culmination of her exploration into rock, indie, and alternative music. She grew up writing, singing, and playing various instruments in Laguna Beach, California. The style of her music is informed partly by time spent in church bands, choirs, and several pop/rock groups. It also draws inspiration from artists such as Elliot smith, Phoebe Bridgers, The Cranberries, Bon Iver, and many more. With the dawn of her solo career in Winter of 2020, she has used writing as a sort of "time capsule," to remember the highs and lows of teenage life and growing up by. Navigating relationships, religion, self-worth, and finding one's place in the world are just a few pieces of life she seeks to capture musically.
In addition to her independent releases, Lily is pursuing music as an academic passion at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. By expanding her horizons as a producer and engineer, and opening the floodgates of genres such as Metal, Jazz, Latin, and Avant-Garde, she hopes to gather even more fodder for impending albums. She looks forward to developing her artistry over time and sharing it with others.
