Lina Sandén is a Swedish singer & songwriter, who made Eastern Europe her home, Romania in particular. In 2018 she participated in The Voice of Romania and was a semi-finalist on Eurovision Romania, something that led her to writing and performing pop music - but she couldn’t forget her roots. Spending a big part of her childhood in Clearwater Beach Florida, Lina was heavily influenced by 90s alternative rock, country music and musical theatre. As a teenager, artists like Tori Amos and Jewel would have the strongest effect on her vocals, and created a voice that often is described as “like a Disney princess with twang”
After working with glittery produced pop, commercial jingles and bar gigs with cover songs Lina desired to strip it down: to make it more personal. To be truthful.
In the fall of 2022 she released “Queen” - a piano ballad about reclaiming her own power. Ending the year she's putting out "Another" with fellow The Voice alumn Acapella, a song about relationships and coming to terms with change.
