Lincoln Brown is a Jamaican singer and songwriter living in Austria for over 30 years.
Raised by his aunt in Bath Mountain, Westmoreland, Jamaica, she instilled in him the fear of God and the importance of living with integrity. She passed away when Lincoln was nine years old, but her teachings have guided him throughout his life.
At 14, while attending Frome Junior Secondary School in Westmoreland, Jamaica, Lincoln discovered his musical talent through a dream. The next morning, he wrote a song titled “Oh Sweet Mary.” Three months later, he auditioned and was chosen as one of 10 contestants to perform at a contest in a sold-out theatre in Savanna-la-Mar, Jamaica. Lincoln won the awards for Best Singer, Best Performer, and Best Song — despite having no prior experience singing with a band or instrument.
In 2012, while living in Austria, Lincoln made his first journey to Africa by traveling to Ghana. His purpose was to assist the local police in arresting a woman he had been providing monthly financial support for her education, later discovering she was a scammer. This experience unveiled Lincoln’s mission.
In 2014, Lincoln founded the Lincoln Brown Foundation and decided to allocate 50% of his annual income to support vulnerable children and youth. He has since worked with perseverance to establish a strong foundation to realize his objectives.
