Swiss singer-/songwriter Linda Elys had dreamt of standing on a big stage and singing her own songs since she was a child. As a teenager, she began honing her voice, taught herself to play guitar, and soon performed in local bars and clubs. Linda quickly became a local favorite due to her distinctive and moving voice. At 19, she gathered all her courage and auditioned for "The Voice of Germany", then known by her birth name Linda Elsener. She made it to the finals, and although she didn't win, it was clear to Linda that this was the start of her own musical project.
Back in Switzerland, she found Benjamin Schmid, aka Bnji, as the perfect musical partner to produce her debut EP. Together they developed and produced Linda's demos in the studio, including the lead single "House On Fire", which was released on October 13th, 2023 to great acclaim. The song is featured on Linda Elys debut EP called "Maggie", released on March 22nd 2024. The five songs on the EP tell personal stories from her life, addressing the challenges of growing up. The production skillfully balances between modern pop and folk. The singer-songwriter infuses the songs with a unique intensity and depth through her touching and expressive voice.
