Lines That Hold the Curve

Lines That Hold The Curve is an original indie-rock band from Fontana, CA that incorporates elements of math-rock, post rock, as well as the obvious indie influences into a style of music that isn’t really easy to describe, but is definitely theirs. Founded in 2017 as Missing Caroline, the band’s original lineup consisted of Kenny Barcenas on the guitar, Damian Torres on bass, Dominic Torres on drums, and Helen Vo on vocals. Before the bands transition into what is now known as Lines That Hold The Curve, bassist Damian Torres and Dominic Torres would depart the group and would be replaced by Josh Salazar on bass and Steve Joshua Guerrero on the drums. They would also be joined by a second guitarist, Mindy Bui. This lineup would go on to write and record the band’s self titled EP and release it independently on free online streaming services. Following Salazar’s departure from the group, the band was joined by bassist Anthony Calderon in 2019. The band then decided to remix and remaster their self titled EP and rerelease it on all the major music streaming services. In early 2021, Bui parted ways with the band and was replaced by Cold Cut guitarist Elmar Chavarria. The band is currently in the process of mastering their second EP set to be released in November of 2021, as well as writing and recording their 3rd EP, set for a spring 2022 release.
