Born in 1998, Heizel Elena Solís or "Haze" grew up in the mountains of Costa Rica, always singing, making music and writing poetry and songs. The youngest of 5 sisters, she was influenced by a great deal of genres such as reggae, rock, R&B, soca, dancehall and latin music.
From a very young age she started participating in artistic activities, joining the school bands and playing at school music contests with her friends, where she would play and sing reggae, rock, folk music and calypso.
She moved to the city in 2017, and met Costa Rebel in 2018, a reggae producer with whom she released her first EP called "Universal Meditation" as a solo artist.
She mixes her rural cosmovision in her music, with spiritual and conscious lyrics, afro indigenous and latin roots and a feminist speech.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with different artists and producers, from Ghana, Argentina, Jamaica and Costa Rica.
