One of Namibia’s top emerging artist and fashion icon LIONESS is back with a new album titled “WISH YOU WERE HERE”. The album arrives as fans eagerly await LIONESS’S creative visuals. WISH YOU WERE HERE’S Afro RnB sound infused with some Dancehall elements is definitely one to lend an ear to! LIONESS has featured some great local and international artists on the album including David, J.Derobie, Cool Under Pressure, Ogranya

After her recent release of her much-awaited debut album PRIDE of CilQ. LIONESS has turned into a household name within Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Her quick rise to fame gained her recognition by COKE STUDIO AFRICA making her the first Namibian hip hop artist to perform at Coke Studio in Nairobi Kenya. LIONESS also featured on a single released BY COKE STUDIO AFRICA featuring well established artists BOITY (South Africa) & NAZIZI (Kenya). This diverse talent caught the eye of MR EAZI while in Kenya and lead to LIONESS being scouted/selected as one of EMPAWA AFRICA top 10 artists for a music boot camp in South Africa set up by MR EAZI. This venture lead to LIONESS working under guidance and mentorship from DIPLO, BBC 1xtra’s’S DJ EDU, JULZ & MR EAZI.
