Liou

Born in Athens, Greece on 1991 he has been raised in a small town one hour away from Athens where he started playing as a DJ and organising his own parties in a very young age. Since 2010, he is based in Athens, where he completed his studies as a sound engineer and he got his bachelor degree in audio production. At the same time he made his first appearances in the biggest nightclubs of the city, gaining great reviews about his dj-ing skills and his taste in music.
In 2014, Liou released his debut track “Breaking Dub” on Plasteline records, while in 2016 he released his first solo EP “Space Hood” on Signatune records, constituted of four original tracks which gained great reviews and putted him on the map.
Creativity knocks in 2017, a year full of music and releases with appearances in labels such as La Vie En Rose and Blind Vision records. 2018 is his year for sure. After the sold out of his first ever vinyl release on Broox records and the successful repress of it, his contribution on Daydream various artists with his track "Catnip" finally he made his third vinyl release in a row with his personal EP ''Crystals" on Blind Vision records which became sold out in a few days like the previous ones.
Moreover, his first appearance out of Greece is a fact after playing for the bedroom crew after party in Secret Room in Budapest. With an upcoming vinyl only release on the way on HouseOnWax and many more appearances coming Liou's career looks really promising and fast rising
