Lipstick Fist

The first person to hear the debut EP from Lipstick Fist called it a "quintessential rock treat". The songs are gritty and no frills rock and that's the way Michael Flasch, the band's founder wants it. "This is rock n roll. It's not polished. It's dirty and in your face. Like life. Like a dirty kinda life".

Lipstick Fist was formed in Cincinnati, OH in early 2022. After playing in bands in the local scene and doing studio work, Flasch was in a situation where he was on his own. No band mates, no projects. This gave him a chance at uninhibited creation. With over 50 songs ready to go, he recorded 3 and put out the debut EP, "Heat From the Street" in the fall of 2022. The band made their live debut in Cincinnati in Dec of 2022 with a successful set in support of 80s metal band Tuff.

In August of 2023, the debut full length album "Lazarus Taxon" was released. The song "That Makes Me Drink" got quite a feverish response upon its debut. Definitely one of the standout tracks on the debut.
