Soft, sultry and sensuous, Secret Fantasy EP consisting of title track ‘Secret Fantasy’, ‘Close Your Eyes’, and ‘Bedtime Story’ create a dreamlike atmosphere filled with lush soft vocals/vocal harmonies, piano, cello, sax, flute, and fretless bass telling a story of infatuation, romance and ultimately, love.
Composed between 2020 -2024 by lead vocalist Lisa Andrea Torres then reharmonized by pianist(s) Roberto Verastegui of Mexico City, (Secret Fantasy); Jorge Estrada of Guadalajara, MX (Close Your Eyes), and Stephan Oberhoff (Bedtime Story) of Los Angeles, CA, all three tracks include the very talented world class musicians French bassist Hadrien Feraud and Cuban drummer Jimmy Branly on drums.
‘Secret Fantasy’ and ‘Close Your Eyes’ features the sensitive and poignant performance by Venezuelan pianist Otmaro Ruiz. Also featured on ‘Secret Fantasy’ is the very talented Armenian cellist Artyom Manukyan and on ‘Close Your Eyes’ playing alto sax is Scott Mayo.
‘Bedtime Story’, a derivative work of Herbie Hancock’s 1970 composition ‘Tell Me a Bedtime Story’, features Stephen Oberhoff playing piano, percussion, string ensemble, and singing background vocals. Playing sax, flute, oboe and singing background vocals is Greg Diaz.
All recordings were mixed and mastered in Los Angeles by Marteen Andruet.
