Lisa Danaë's music is like sharing stories with a close friend, celebrating vulnerability and authenticity. The sunny southern California native grew up listening to Sheryl Crow, Etta James, and Queen, but it wasn’t until she discovered Christina Aguilera, No Doubt, and the pop powerhouses of the late 90s/early 2000s that Lisa discovered her passion for music and began crafting her own melodies. Collaborating with songwriter, a girl named jaen, and producer, John McLucas, in 2018, Lisa found her unique sound, blending cinematic and trap elements with big pop melodies. Her music, including hits like “STARLET” and collaboration with producer Alex Bochel, “Press Reset,” has resonated with fans, garnering over 100,000 streams on Spotify. In 2021, her electro pop single “Weigh Me Down” got nominated for Song of the Year at The Wavy Awards. In 2023, her cinematic pop ballad "i'm not sure what to do" also earned a Song of the Year nomination at The Wavy Awards. You might have heard Lisa on popular Philippines radio station WishBus’s “Wishclusive” segment or caught her performance at The Wavy Awards in New York in 2022. She was then selected for the GRAMMY NEXT program, recognizing her as one of the next generation of innovators in the music industry. Lisa's upcoming EP, focused on the stages of grief, is set to release in 2025. Whether it's overcoming vulnerability or embracing one's uniqueness, Lisa's message is clear: you are not alone.
