Lisbert is a singer-songwriter from Jena, Germany. As a teenager, she developed her talents through keyboard and band lessons, discovering a fondness for pop-punk and indie bands like Arctic Monkeys and Green Day, as well as singer-songwriters such as Regina Spektor, Kate Nash, and Amy Winehouse.
She broadened her musical horizons by exploring various genres, including emo, screamo, various metal subgenres, and music with digital sounds like synthwave or darkwave. She focused on her studies in educational science and treated musical ambitions as a hobbie.
In 2017, Lisbert began composing more intensively, inspired by personal experiences, strong mental strains, and her inclusive educational work with children. She invested in affordable home studio equipment and experimented with music production using Ableton software. Her songs, initially recorded acoustically in a folk style for her EP "Insights", evolved further, and she began to realize herself in the pop genre, particularly influenced by Billie Eilish's debut album “When we all fall asleep where do we go?”.
In 2021, she began collaborating with Mike Scherber (producer and guitarist, among others, in the Jena band Mamoré). Together, they created the concept album "Healing Powers", which combines Lisberts's lyrics, composition, vocals and pre-production and Mike's technical producing skills. The al-bum is a mix of intimate, reflective compositions and provocative musical inputs.
