A multi-talented American of Armenian descent, Lisbeth Scott’s ethereal blend of neo-classical/meditative tracks and wistful indie folk songs brings to mind the sounds of artists like Sarah McLachlan and Bon Iver, while harkening back to the purity of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake. The multi-instrumentalist singer, songwriter, and producer spreads her compositions across genres , deep diving into the world of music for meditation and yoga,(Om Sweet Om, Eternal Om, Calm and Comfort) while producing stunning indie folk albums (Dove, Climb, Bird and Heliotrope) alongside rich and lustrous film soundtracks (All My Life, Machu Picchu and more). Her soundtrack to the Amazon children’s hit show Tumble Leaf is a joyful explosion of guitars, ukuleles, vocals, keyboards, string quartet and more and was an immediate hit. Scott got her start as a solo vocalist for film and tv after Hans Zimmer’s assistant overheard her humming along to an improvised piano piece she was playing for a modern dance class. She went on to become one of the most sought after vocalists in Hollywood working with Steven Spielberg, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Debney, and many more. Her voice and songs appear on Oscar winners AVATAR, Narnia, Shrek, The Passion, and more. Lisbeth simultaneously developed her solo artist’s voice and is eternally grateful to all who listen.
