LITA was born and raised in Rome, Italy.
Her mother's influence following a previous successful operatic career (performed with Pavarotti in 1986, Placido Domingo 1990 and many more, under the direction of the legendary Herbert Von Karajan), along with her father's passion for music built a huge interest in song-writing and inspired her to create her own sound.
In 2017 she moved to Los Angeles where she began working with incredibly talented producers and writers, pursuing a career as a songwriter as well as focusing on her artist project. After living in the States for about 5 years her musical purpose has become that of putting Italian music on the map and injecting her culture and heritage into her sound. Through the use of languages, real classical instruments, modern percussion, folk-Italian like melodies, and at times operatic samples, LITA creates a cohesive current collision of her American influences and her Italian roots.
