Hey there, we're Ross Newhouse and Majd Abousleiman, aka Little Distractions. We've been making music together ever since middle school. We used to do Modest Mouse and Red Hot Chili Peppers covers in our garages, sheds, basements, wherever we could put a drum set. We've grown a bit since then. Learned a lot too. A few years ago we both began producing and created this project. We consider this band to be a community, favoring collaboration and feedback from all of you.
Our first EP, Between Here and Harlem, explored themes of youth, growth, and the substances that inspired both. Our new EP, Fault Lines, furthers this reflection through the lens of relationships and personal development, with shades of D'Angelo, James Blake, The Japanese House, and Shallou as our pallet.
