Little Fauna

3 piece St. John's based garage rock outfit, Little Fauna got their start as Vocalist/Guitarist Krys Burton's attempt at a solo rpm project in 2023. After adding Drummer Stephen Spencer and Bassist Kathy Oke to the lineup that same year, Little Fauna's first single as a fleshed out band, "Miserable" was featured in Exclaim! Magazine's October round up of New Faves. The band's catchy melodies, fuzzed out guitar riffs, boomy basslines, and punchy drum fills compliment Burton's expressive lyrics and dynamic vocal style; drawing inspiration from grunge, punk, shoegaze and garage rock acts from the 80's - '00's. Burton's vision for Little Fauna's sound was heavily influenced by bands such as the Pixies, The Cranberries, The Breeders, and Slowdive to name a few. After two years of writing and gigging, the band announced their debut self titled LP will be released May 31st of 2025. The record drops just shy of a week before their first appearance at acclaimed local grassroots music and arts Festival: Lawnya Vawnya.
