Born and raised in historic gold mining town of Beechworth, Liv Cartledge is a rare find. At 25, her husky tones and soul-filled lyrics combine to tell stories of love, loss, home and life. Liv will draw you in and leave you wondering how you got there.
Always a self starter and performer, Liv began busking at the tender age of nine on Beechworth streets. In 2015, Liv Cartledge was named winner of Telstra Road To Discovery. At just 20, Liv had already released her debut single ‘You Got Me High’, closely followed by her debut EP ‘Timber’ recorded with Daniel Ledwell in Nova Scotia, Canada and Neilson Hubbard in Nashville, USA. She and her father, Sean, regularly used to perform together ‘around the traps’ of North East Victoria.
Some of Liv’s most noteworthy shows to date include The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville, Sold out headline shows at The Wesley Anne MELB, High Tea SYD and Some Velvet Morning MELB.
In 2020, Liv had planned to be recording and touring the US. Due to COVID set backs and travel restrictions, Liv was unable to see those plans through at that time. Now residing back in her hometown of Beechworth after some years living in Melbourne, Liv is enjoying settling back into her small town life and is excited for the reopening of the music industry and forward motion of her career.
