Lloyd Anderson is a Seattle-based writer, guitarist, pianist, and vocalist whose work spans fiction, music, and worldbuilding. His projects include The Year I Worked at Dreadwood and The Drowned King—a dark fantasy setting of fallen kingdoms and mythic heroes. Anderson’s goal is to build stories that live across mediums—books, songs, games, and performance—each bound by a single pursuit: to create something timeless and true. His ongoing work and live performances can also be found by tuning into Lloyd TV at www.youtube.com/@LloydTVStudios
The full 99-track The Drowned King: A Tabletop Prog Opera—a six-hour progressive concept album—exists as a Bandcamp exclusive, composed as a musical companion to the RPG fantasy setting, with select smaller compilations available here on Spotify.
Anderson works in both traditional craft and the emerging craft of AI-assisted storytelling. Every work begins with his own words, rhythm, and design, using technology not to imitate what already exists, but to help conjure what never was. The creation speaks for itself.
