Born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, Lloyd Tinashe Bhebhe — professionally known as Lloyd Soul — is a multi-talented vocalist, producer, sound engineer, and qualified chef whose passion for music has shaped a bold and unique artistic journey.
Lloyd’s musical path began in his teenage years, but it wasn't until after completing his culinary arts diploma that he fully embraced his calling. He co-founded Roman Rap Studios with fellow artists, creating a platform for authentic African soundscapes to thrive.
He introduced himself with a debut EP, "Strings," followed by singles like "Sarura Wako" and the breakout hit "Katarina," which earned him major recognition, including award nominations for Best Newcomer and Best Afro Pop, competing with some of the biggest names in the country.
As his sound evolved, he explored Amapiano with tracks like "Overdose" and "Burning Up," leading to the release of his second EP, "Loudsilence," featuring fan favorites like "Lavida Loca" and "Crowd." This project earned him another nomination, this time for Best House Song.
Never one to slow down, Lloyd collaborated with Bulawayo-based producer The Mulb for the joint EP "Quarantine," before dropping his debut album, "Soulified." The album showcased his versatility across genres and confirmed his place as a powerful, enduring force in music — not just a hitmaker, but a visionary artist here to stay
