Music makers? lobsterfight are an “”emo”” band from Pueblo, Colorado—whose music is an eclectic and chaotic blend of sounds taken from an abundance of different genres. Including, but not limited to: experimental rock, 60s pop, progressive rock, lofi, shoegaze, skramz, pop punk, ambient, jazz, power pop, trip hop, indietronica, noise, psychedelic pop, math rock, synth pop, folk, hip hop, post-hardcore, and punk.
The project started on June 23rd, 2019—and comprises entirely of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Anguel Sanchez and drummer James Gove—with Blaze Martinez also joining the duo on bass in 2023.
lobsterfight’s purpose is to display blazing self-expression in the most authentic way possible. Put yourself out into the world, for it would be a worse place without you in it.
