Putting the tech in High Tech Minimal, meet the enigmatic duo known as Loco Eighty 8. Comprising of two inventive minds, Bjon Ottesen and Ritchie Soberanes, this energetic collaboration puts together one half of their respective tech house projects, B&E and Jak’n Jax.
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Bjon and Ritchie’s paths began in the local underground grind and they quickly became friends while starting their separate aliases. Their separate paths eventually collided to bring Bjon’s quirky and eclectic taste and Ritchie’s love for dark and driven beats. Both bring a new tech house focused twist to melodic techno and high tech minimal. With releases on renowned tech house labels like Rawsome Records, Box of Cats, House of Hustle, and many others under their respective tech house aliases, Loco Eighty 8 is ready take over the underground scene.
