Logan grew up listening to James Taylor, Cat Stevens and Tracey Chapman. These influences are felt throughout his new EP "Chase the World." The instrumentation is stripped down, featuring the soulful rhythm section of Steve Deutsch on bass, MB Gordy on drums and recorded by Jake Bluenote.
This five-song EP's title track, along with "Never Gonna Bring Me Down" (that's Logan's brother Hayden on background vocals and Jake on banjo), are on their way to radio. The closing track and video "Winter With You" has a haunting string arrangement by Eric Gorfain (Fiona Apple, Page and Plant, Sam Phillips). The EP was mixed by award-winning engineer Mike Poole and produced by the Grammy-winning Marvin Etzioni (Lone Justice, Counting Crows, Stephen Stills/Judy Collins).
