Emerging straight from the beating heart of The Hague's music scene comes Lola's Basement – a four-piece band storming stages with their distinctive blend of pop, punk and rock. Led by vocalist Leonie, whose jazzy vocals perfectly contrast with the energetic instrumentation, the band creates a unique sound reminiscent of a crossover between Blondie and The Strokes, while remaining completely their own. After winning a local audience award at Musicon, performances at Paardcafé and Kaderock, the band is now ready to conquer the Randstad with new releases like "Pink Tears" and "Favorite Sweater."
