LÖNA makes dark music for happy people. Their melancholic altpop sound is the perfect cold Dark & Stormy cocktail to drink and lose yourself to. The identical twin sisters mix rough synth sounds with vocal effects and electronic beats, to give it a nice kick. The LÖNA-formula is complete when adding candid lyrics about for example the passing of their dad and the longing for love. As twin sisters they grew closer with their shared love of dark pop songs, hence their northern-sounding band name which means "valuable" in Swedish.
