Lone Tree

From Nairobi to Nashville, Lone Tree is creating a vibrant new sound that attempts to explore the unknown while simultaneously collaborating with roots Rock n’ Roll, alternative sounds and an experimental edge.

Although they're expats that met in Kenya, Lone Tree has roots in a variety of countries. Songwriter and guitarist Patrick Sanders and lead singer Teresa Sanders are Bolivian-American, drummer Gabe Gebremedhin is Eritrean-American, and bassist/keys Ben Matsaert is British-Belgian.

Lone Tree’s influences are broad, including Pink Floyd, Fela Kuti, King Gizzard, Tame Impala, Allman Brothers, The Wailers, Buddy Guy and Jethro Tull.

Lone Tree is a LIVE band that has played extensively, including major festivals in the US, UK, Germany, Kenya and Bolivia since 2018. They first came to the U.S. in 2021, returning for summer 2022 to play their first stateside festival (Musikfest) and complete a 10-show tour in Nashville, DC and PA. The band most recently finished a summer 2023 tour in London, headlining iconic venues like Dublin Castle and Bush Hall.
