Long Legged Creatures are an ever-evolving live electronic quartet exploring a range of dance music styles, including breakbeat, techno, industrial and electro through the dynamic sensibilities of their more ‘guitar music’ upbringing.
Taking their raucous live show around the UK, Creatures have played alongside the likes of Yussef Dayes, Mildlife, Noya Rao and Run Logan Run and gained airplay on BBC Radio 6, BBC Intro and Threads Radio. The quartet's steezy electronic/analogue hybrid spirit has earned them a ‘not-to-be-missed’ status amongst the UK scene.
After spending 2020 assembling and recording new music, the band have released their first single of 2021 followed by launch gig at the Jam Jar Bristol. Part of label Come Play With Me’s compilation album ‘Side by Side’, ‘EZY8667 ft. Lydia Kotsirea’ sees the quartet explore brighter spaces. Creature’s are to do a 180 for their following release, joining forces with artist Joshua Zero with their collaborated single ‘AntiStar’, launching at Headrow House, Leeds on September 24th.
“Releases like Demonise and CMAD display just how much of a forward-thinking band they are, drawing influence from a conceptual reservoir of all thing’s electro, whilst boasting stunning visuals.” - Clash 2020
