Long Pockets are three English musicians with mutual love and respect of classic music from the early seventies. Big guitar riffs, powerhouse rhythm sections, and soulful vocals. Formed in Nottingham (England) in 2021 by bass player/song writer 'JESUS' JON HUGHES, and ex Julian Cope and Brain Donor drummer 'MISTER E', they are fronted by the charismatic vocalist front man ROB REID (formerly of Godsend and Sack Sabbath).
A cocktail of influences inspired by Bands as diverse as: Montrose, Deep Purple,
Government Mule, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, and The Faces to name but a few.
With a blend of songs honed and recorded between September 2021 and March 2023, their initial release is their debut single "3am". This will be followed by an E.P. released by the end of the year 2023 and feature a number of songs of rock, metal, funk and blues genres.
