Born and raised where the eastern pines of North Carolina grow strong, Lonnie Britton brings a new perspective to outlaw country blues and southern rock.
Highly influenced as a kid by such bands as
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Black Crowes, ZZ Top, Waylon Jennings, Hank JR. and B.B. king, Lonnie’s lyrics are written under the inspiration of these powerful artists.
“Life is lived, songs are written and stories are told,” says Britton.
“Writing from the heart, from life experiences, highs, lows, addictions, victories, it’s all life. We live it everyday so puttin it in a song just makes your testimony even more powerful.”
Lonnie Britton, a self taught musician, has been performing in bars all over NC and surrounding states and writing songs since he was 19 years old.
“I can’t see myself not doing this, It’s my life it’s my entire world and I try to give a piece of me to everyone in every song I write and perform.”
His first single “Heart of Mine” is only one of many tracks that is to be released. Stay tuned!
