Lonnie Michael Gross (lonnie) started touring and making music when he was fifteen years old in bands such as Fight To Remain, <a href="spotify:artist:6C96HchT0MWt9Sey0osFpX" data-name="Your Best Friend!">Your Best Friend!</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:17DCqf0Cn89rdf9yAVfux7" data-name="Seroletto">Seroletto</a> . He grasped songwriting in his late teens by receiving mentorship from <a href="spotify:artist:5aYf0AInMznHfXGaemKEBv" data-name="Craig Owens">Craig Owens</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:6XjXff8FNS5CqpF8dVAtoo" data-name="Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows">Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4ZIBrskTJWmkJUvM7uAu1o" data-name="Chiodos">Chiodos</a> .


After years of touring and songwriting in the “Metalcore” and “emo” scene, Lonnie decided to take on music for himself, recently releasing under the name “lonnie.”


“lonnie” frequently writes music with producer and friends <a href="spotify:artist:050NGqUMJoACilYUlkXznW" data-name="Tay Xay">Tay Xay</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3YVrPaUuSbV8j9avfcDM1F" data-name="akjohnson">akjohnson</a>, both of <a href="spotify:artist:0cgonzM5dIGYydRVWw8MCU" data-name="Stranger Club">Stranger Club</a>.


His music consists of Hyperpop-like beats and vocals of 2000’s emo.
His releases are planned intermittently, as each song is a carefully-curated product of his life story and experiences.
