look up at the night sky and know Who is watching over you.
My self-made album, Somewhen/Somewhere, is out on all platforms.
What I’ve been learning and struggling with is that life does not pan out how you think it may turn out to be, that things you even think are set in stone can be turned upside down. These songs, these emotions, are battles that I’ve had to deal with throughout the past five years or so especially. In these struggles I at times have felt like I was alone. When I have finally opened up to others about my doubts, my insecurities, my flaws, I have realized that I am not the only person that deals and struggles with various degrees of mental health. The name of this album, Somewhen/Somewhere, is meant to embody this realization and to be an encouragement to those who do feel alone.
Somewhen in the past, in the present, and also in the future, and somewhere in the world — whether it be yourself, the person next to you, or someone halfway across the globe— people have felt, currently feel, and will feel negative emotions and struggle with mental health. I am not alone and you are not alone in that struggle. There is hope, there is light. For me, that light is Christ. For anyone that may be tempted to feel as though no one understands them; reach out to your friends and family, reach out to the ones who care for you. No one is alone in this struggle. Somewhen/Somewhere, someone else gets you.
