Born in Hong Kong, Lora Chow is an award-winning composer and coloratura soprano graduated magna cum laude from Yale with a double major in Music and Economics. Lora has created numerous piano improvisations and has composed a variety of solo piano, vocal, chamber and orchestral music. Her music has been premiered by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra della Toscana, Sofia Sinfonietta, Cascade Sinfonietta, Budapest Art Orchestra and other professional musicians. Her scores are published by Universal Edition. Lora currently sings with the as Soprano Fellow of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and serves as the Vice-Chairwoman of SingFest, the Co-Founder of the Yale Alumni Chamber Music Society of Hong Kong, and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Virtuoso Fiesta.
