Besides music, LORAE is interested in astrophysics and could "talk for hours about black holes," as she says herself. Photography is also close to the versatile artist’s heart. The photos for her publications are analog shots that were digitized afterwards. She sees herself as a role model for a new generation; with her songs, she not only wants to come to terms with her own difficult childhood, but also to encourage others. She also advocates for mental health and would like to see more support and education. "I have suffered from emetophobia for many years and have panic attacks. I know many feel the same way and I want to do my part to help myself and others cope better." LORAE has a lot planned. 3 more singles and an EP are planned for next year. After starting with a light-hearted summer song ("Freckles" released in July), a trip into the abysses of the human soul ("Basement" was released in September) and the not so nice childhood memories ("Misbehave"), the next song will be about false friends in youth ("Even"). The focus is always on modern beats on an international level and her catchy and versatile voice.
