Born and raised in London, Lorenza Marino is an Italian & Zambian Singer-Songwriter and Producer.
She calls herself a 'Citizen of The World', fusing in her music all the EMEA influences she's experienced while growing up: her London R&B & Soul background, together with her Mediterranean melody and African rhythm.
She first, sang in multiple choirs in London absorbing the fascinating cultures offered by the big city, which developed her vocal abilities.
Lorenza attended The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), which led her to Southampton Solent University. During the three years, she enriched her artistry by refining her abilities of Songwriting and Producing, achieving a BA (Hons) Degree in Popular Music with First Class.
In July 2025, Lorenza was awarded by the University, a prestigious prize, which led her to record her song at Abbey Road Studios and gave her the chance to release ‘La Melodia’.

The song is in Italian and Croatian with a story of a beautiful place that carries a melody which will remain within the person for eternity. The instrumentation is a hybrid of the Mediterranean (Neapolitan like <a href="spotify:artist:7F0wzg6BIXNOSrh8ixhobj" data-name="LA NIÑA">LA NIÑA</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2eFv7NVs8R6Go7msuqikeg" data-name="Pino Daniele">Pino Daniele</a>) and the Balkans ( <a href="spotify:artist:2o4SmIGKjHlvB8NpkaWGSS" data-name="Severina">Severina</a>) such as the accordion, a flamenco guitar, a mandolin, a darbuka drum and eastern influenced vocals.
The result of this was Lorenza being selected for Pitti Pizza Festival in Salerno August 2025, where she performed <a href="spotify:album:7geBe16epXdo1wlF4x0O4K" data-name="La Melodia">La Melodia</a> among her repertoire.
