Loretta is an Eora/Sydney-based alternative-pop trio known for their high-energy performances that seamlessly blend pop, rock, and alternative sonics . Formed in late 2018, the band comprises of Ellis Hall, Max Jacobs, and Nico Scali. Their music is characterised by captivating melodies and expansive production, creating an electrifying atmosphere both live and in recordings.
In November 2023, Loretta unveiled their debut EP, Never Thought Of Growing Up, a nostalgic exploration of adolescence, relationships, and self-discovery. This release was followed by a successful east coast Australian tour and five performances at the Woodford Folk Festival, solidifying their presence in the Australian music scene.
Continuing their momentum, the band released Promise and Really Means Forever in 2024, exploring themes of love, longing, and the emotions that linger in unspoken moments. Alongside their releases, Loretta hit the road for a series of standout performances, supporting The Drax Project in Sydney, joining US-based artist Charlotte Sands as main support on her debut Australian tour, and later teaming up with English/Australian pop singer Charlie Pittman for a co-headline east-coast tour in November.
2025 has already seen Loretta continue to expand their presence, opening for Selfish Sons on the Sydney leg of their What a Beautiful Waste of Time tour. Beyond the stage, the band has been deeply immersed in working on a string of new releases for 2025/26.
